ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [sorput_1], [], [], [], [], [], [], []

ORA-0060 and ORA 600 with sorput_1 errors in the alert log causing lot of TM locks and database hung.

Cause was identified a a bitmap index causing TM locks.

Resolution :Drop the bitmap index.
